We're a three-generation Lee's Summit construction business now in its fourth decade.

Our story
Four Sons Construction is a three-generation, Lee’s Summit family construction and remodeling business now in its fourth decade.

The business was started by Ben Cerra Sr. His son Ron now leads the company. Ron got an early start in remodeling at age 14, working alongside his dad.

Ron, one of four sons, also has four sons. Two of them, Anthony and Ben are a part of the team today. Margaret Cerra – mom and wife – is the company's owner and administrator.

Four Sons has a wide range of construction skills to tackle a variety of home improvement needs. In addition to remodeling, Four Sons has extensive experience building homes as a general contractor. When the market changed after 2008, their focus moved to remodeling and roofing.

This from-the-ground-up experience has given Four Sons a depth of expertise uncommon among most remodelers.

The Four Sons difference

In a world of fly-by-night contractors, Four Sons in it for the long haul.

•    Experience We're in our fourth decade of home improvement.
•    Honesty and integrity You don't stay in business four decades without it.
•    Commitment to excellence Our reputation goes into your home. When you win, we win.

Our commitment: We don’t cut corners
Four Sons knows that our name goes on your home. So we don't cut corners (unless a corner literally needs to be cut).

We're committed to superior construction, even if it takes a little more time. We've also been ahead of the curve and the market when it comes to energy efficiency.

We have a reputation to uphold. We get the job done. But that’s not all we do. We get it done right.
— Ron Cerra, Four Sons Construction

Although Four Sons is a team of expert craftsmen, they know remodeling is ultimately about people. Customers entrust them with their home. It’s a big responsibility and we take it seriously.

That means listening to customers is just as important as installing the perfect piece of paneling.

“If you don't like something, we want to know,” Ron says. “We are a team, your team, your partner.”
